EASTERN
FUSION
A FUSION OF TUINA, THAI YOGA AND BALINESE TECHNIQUES
This treatment is based on the late Maria Mercati’s system of integrated bodywork based on Chinese, Thai and Indonesian massage.
She founded the school of Body Harmonics in 1993 and coined the term “ORIENTAL BODYWORK”, developing her unique fusion of eastern modalities based on periods of study in China, Indonesia and Thailand working with the leading experts in their respective fields.
This treatment begins with Tuina-inspired techniques, utilising rhythmic movements and acupressure to stimulate the body's energy pathways, followed by Thai Yoga-inspired stretches and compressions, promoting flexibility and releasing deep-seated tension. The treatment concludes with Balinese massage techniques, incorporating long strokes and gentle manipulations to soothe the nervous system and restore balance.
Eastern Fusion is particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing chronic pain, muscle stiffness, or stress. It's also suitable for those seeking to enhance their overall well-being through a comprehensive, full-body treatment that harmonises mind, body, and spirit.
